hello beautifuls.

hello beautifulsss,
how are we all doing this week. Hopefully well!!!!!
my week was lovely thank you for asking :]
21/ TWENTY ONE/ YIH SAHP YAT/ BENTE UNO/ yees that is 21 one days till HONG KONG The count down continues!!!! time here at the MTC is flying, most people by there 9 week are so ready to leave the MTC but now i am slightly freaking out, ahh hits like i haven't learned enough and i am not as ready as i should be.... but what really determines that right. the best way is to just get out there and starting working. wahoo i am so excited so nervous, anxious, ecstatic...list goes on and on. i can't believe it the time has almost come!!! bleeeeee. there is SOOO Mucch to do.
you don't realize how inadequate you are, how little you know, how you can't make it through this process without the Lord, until you are here...and you are trying to learn one of the hardest languages in the world. its a constant humbling process, and one which i am so very honored and privileged to be having... we calculated it out the other day...and i speak 900 words of chinese....haha yes i know it doesn't seem like much but we were pretty proud of it...chinese. WE ARE SPEAKING CHINESE. oh my goodness it is unreal the Gift of the Holy Ghost is so very very real. It is given through a completely different way then you think.... but its great and it is defiantly being given here.
Things that will make you Chuckle:
this weeks nightly cantonese sleep talking topic was on prayer, thats fun eh??
Jessica Alba was announced to say the closing prayer in a devotional
"has anyeone told you that you look like princess Jasmine..." how someone determines you look like a cartoon character i don't know
i have a farmers tan...ewww haha
you have no idea what day/date/month/....or daylights savings... oh thanks for telling us haha
and farts and farts.. non stop farts. its bad people. you don't even know.
- we have the privilege of watching the Joseph Smith movie here on sundays...and yes the "kissing part" you get a lot of whistles and clapping... yes wow.. we are at the MTC with a bunch of 19 year old boys. its bad.
this week i got an amazing blessing from the Elders and i would love to share some of it with you:
"a mission is in the plan for you ,its where you are suppose to be"
"he knows your greatest aspiration is to love everyone and that makes him so very happy"
"invinting people unto Christ will be as easy as knocking on a door, and others inviting you in their threshold"
"everything about your mission is perfect for you, in fact it is tailor made for you"
so today at the Temple one of the Temple workers asked if i had relatives in Switerzerland... crazy right and she knows are family omi and opa to be exact her last name was Lohner there were the mission presidents in '95 prettty crazy right.
alright my darlings my time has come again to bid thee farewell. hope your week is amazing and hope to hear again from you soon. I am doing great so don't worry about me. Thank you for the prayers they are very very much needed i love you so much and i pray for you all the time.

27 days of MTC left

how are we all doing on this freezing....day. :]
can you believe it the snow has come... this just made me realize a) that i did not pack any clothes for this weather a b) can't wait to get in Hong Kong and leave this snow and cold stuff behind... huh. Not a bad trade
27, i repeat TWENTY SEVEN days till HONG KONG. Can you believe ahh i can't i am not excited or anything...oh wait i am ESTATIC. seriously i cannont believe it in less the a month i will be in the most inredible city in the WORLD, being able to meet the most incredible people in the WORLD.
AHHH another fabulous week at the MTC has come and gone... its amazing, just amazing. So much work gets done here in a week its incredible. This place means bussiness and i kind of love that. The langauge is still coming thankfully and my other languages or fastly disapperaing... um yes i really hope that is a good sign haha.
This week we invited 2 of our investigators to baptism they said YESSS wahoo, we taught back to back lessons and it was just like alright send the next person in who wants to get baptized it was so incredible. My sister are amazing, we all teach with great unity and the spirit which is key!!! ahhh i love it.
Things that will make you chuckle:
this week... i woke myself up speaking cantonese...good sign?? yes/no. I am just going to go with the yes on this one heheh. but really i dream of the people of Hong Kong all the time, and i would like to think that i am talking to them in my sleep :] They are amazing, i cannot wait to meet them.
So everynight before the Elders leave for their residence i always tell them i love them (beacuse i do) it took about a week to get the response back hehe and now at the 7 week i am getting it before i even say it haha so great right. i love it so much. They other night they left and i ran out to the hallway to bid them my farwell i love you for the evening and one of them was like I know. haha it was like a proud mother moment. hehe.
yes this is what i get excited over at the MTC... yes i love my life haha
was amazing this week we taught a native and my goodness can i just say the gift of tongues is so so so so very real. Logically i should not be able to comprehend a native chinese person for only learning the language for 7 weeks. I should not be able to. But i am able. I am to not only understand but then respond back through the spirit and tremdedous help from the Lord. Ahh its unreal and its such an amazing thing to witness. When you are prepared when you've worked as hard as you can, the Lord will make up for the rest, it happens every single time. This work would be impossible if it was not through the Lord, but its possible because of that. ahhh its so great, can i say that enough...um no i don't think so.
For Halloween, we grew a foot. and ate lots of candy, and cupcakes, and painted our nails.
what did you do??
Winston (our pet foot) is progressing quite well and its a joy to come home to each evening. He is a very healthy boy and we only have to feed him water every once in a while, i recommend everyone getting one of these... he's great.
Our new disitrict came in this week they are great! There are so many of them.. its weird to have so many canotonese speakers now because we are so used to our little group but it is fun to thave them there. There has been some tears and laughs...and everything in between, it is just so neat to be able to see their huge progesssion just within these few days.
We went to the Temple today, it was a chily walk to the Temple but it was beautiful, and the crips air is very refreshing. Ahhh i love the Temple so much, aside from the incredible spiritual boost you get everytime you go... geeze las weez if your ever feeling down on yourself or just need a little confidence boost go there. The old ladies are the sweetest things in the world and they always tell you how pretty you are haha i love it. and the same ones work everytime that we go so i have made some pretty good friends there hehe. but for real. amazing women.
well my time is up.
sorry for the scattered thoughts just exploding throughout this email.. i hope at least half of it makes sense
just know that i love you and you are thought of often here.
the Church is oh so very TRUE
much love
